The collection documents the literary and linguistic scholarly work of Romanenchuk and includes articles on literary subjects, book reviews, and literary criticism. The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence with persons and institutions, as well as documents connected to Romanenchuk's roles at various educational, civic and community organizations, such as the Shevchenko Scientific Society, the Organization for the Defense of Four Freedoms of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America, the Ukrainian Youth Organization of America (Spilka Ukrains'koi Molodi Ameryky - SUMA/Спілка Української Молоді Америки - СУМА), and others.
