Scope and Contents
This collection contains the personal papers of Edvard and Maria Kozak, including diaries, financial records, correspondence, awards, and photographs. Notable correspondences include that with the Coordinating Committee of Ukrainian Veterans Organization in New York and on the Taras Shevchenko monument in Washington. A large portion of the collection is dedicated to various materials for “Lys Mykyta,” including drawings and photographs by Kozak, along with prose, poetry, and humorous works by various authors addressed to "Mykyta.” The collection also contains newspaper clippings, copies of the Krynytsia icon of St. Nicholas, materials about Zeleni Sviata (Pentacost) folk rituals, programs of exhibitions and visitor reviews and a document on military terminology.
