Scope and Contents
This collection contains correspondence, writings, personal and family documents, subject files, and photographs. The correspondence files include letters from Sviatoslav Hordyns’kyi, Ivan-Kedryn-Rudnyts’kyi, Hryhorii Kostiuk, Iurii Lavrinenko, Ivan Lysiak-Rudnyts’kyi, Milena Rudnyts’ka, Iulian Serediak, Halyna Zhurba, and others.
The writings within the collection consist of manuscripts and typescripts of articles, translation of a short story by Martin, the play “Amerykanka,” diaries. The diaries include entries written in L’viv during World War II, as well as a diary documenting work at the Ivan Franko Muzei Museum in L’viv in 1940.
The collection also contains Strutyns'ka's passport, refugee identification cards, work and membership cards, biographical notes, newspaper obituaries, personal financial records, and her will. Additionally, it includes a school certificate of Mykhailo Strutyns’kyi dated 1901. Among the materials in the collections are financial and church documents related to Vasyl’ Navrots’kyi, signed by Andrei Sheptyts’kyi, and money orders, registrations, identification cards and funeral expenses of Melania Navrots’ka. The collection holds documents related to the Ukrainian Writer’s Association in Exile “Slovo” and Matirnyi Soiuz Ukrainok, as well as photographs of Maria Strutyns’ka from various periods, and a photograph of Mykhailo Strutyns’kyi and Katia Hrynevych.
