Collection on the Displaced Persons camps in Regensburg, Germany
Scope and Contents
This collection documents the educational and cultural activities at the Regensburg DP camps. A significant portion of the materials consists of reports and informational bulletins produced by the Society for the Preservation of Ukrainian Monuments Abroad in the City of Regensburg and the Surrounding Region, affiliated with the Ukrainian Free Academy of Sciences in Augsburg. The collection also includes memoirs from the post-DP camp period, as well as speeches and reports by former camp residents and graduates of camp educational institutions.
