Content Description

The collection contains materials assembled by Nataliia Palidvor Sonevyts'ka documenting life at the DP camp in Bayreuth, Germany. The collection includes photographs and photo albums of camp life and residents, reports from the musical-vocal section, sheet music, arts programming ephemera, minutes, exhibition catalogs and other printed materials, school report cards, and school notebooks. The collection also contains personal papers of the Palidvor family, including documents, camp memory albums, and correspondence of Vasyl Palidvor, Mariia Palidvor, Liarysa Palidvor, and Nataliia Sonevytska-Palidvor. In addition, it includes materials transferred by Nataliia Sonevytska-Palidvor on behalf of Olha Svorak-Gnoi, including family photographs, Andrii Svorak’s diary, and Olha Svorak-Gnoi’s school reports. The collection also includes a very small portion of personal papers transferred on behalf of Z. Zvirynets’-Bereza.
