Marian Kots papers
Scope and Contents
This collection contains the personal and professional materials of Marian Kots, including writings, notebooks, financial records, legal documents, correspondence, sheet music, address books, photographs, motion picture film, and ephemera. It also seems to contain signficant quantities of third-party material. Notable correspondences include those with the Ukrainian Anti-Libel Fund, Visti periodical, and Rev. Mykhailo Hrynchyshyn. The collection also includes materials related to the figures Vasyl Avramenko (sheet music, clippings, event posters, and photographs), Yevhen Malaniuk (obituaries, funeral card, possible letters), Oleksandr and Maria Semenenko (Brazilian ID cards and Russian Imperial educational and vital records), Rev. O. Zarytskyi and his family (photographs, negatives and correspondence), Illia Horodetckyj and A. Hladylovych (writings and correspondence), and Ignacy Baczynski (will). Finally, the collection contains books, clippings and writings, such as a typescript of "Vysokyi Zamok" and copies of "Zherela do Istorii Ukrainy-Rusy" by Hrushevs'kyi, as well as notes and photocopies of materials related to Deschenes Commission.
