This collection contains materials related to Ivan Maistrenko, including official documents, certificates, journals, notebooks, pocket calendars, photographs, film reels, and a sketch. The collection includes Maistrenko’s personal and professional correspondence, including with his family, publishers such as Vpered!, the Ukrainian Communist Party, and the Ukrainian Revolutionary Democratic Party. There is also one letter later assumed to be from the KGB. Writings by Maistrenko include books, scripts and radio monitoring reports. Additionally, there are writings by others, including unpublished texts by Lenin and Stalin, published books, a number of which are by Isaak Mazepa, newspaper and magazine clippings, and photocopies of Samvydav works. Finally, there are statutes and declarations from the Ukrainian Revolutionary Democratic Party.
