Lev Maistrenko papers
Scope and Contents
This collection is composed of the papers of Lev Maistrenko, including his writings, memoirs, personal and professional correspondence, photographs and slides, address and notebooks, and other ephemera. There is a great deal of textual material written by others (including on microfilm), a significant amount of which are on architecture, including books with inscriptions, articles, and clippings. There are also a variety of audio-visual materials, including slides and slide equipment, cassette tapes, and VHS tapes, mainly containing music and audio letters. Along with L. Maistrenko’s biography and autobiography, the collection also includes materials related to his father Ivan Maistrenko, such as clippings, articles, and sketches. Finally, there are materials related to Zinovii Shtokalko, including correspondence, music recordings, a death mask, and a portrait on metal with a pipe.
