This collection contains the writings of Roman Illnystkyj, including his speeches, articles, comments, and notes about the Ukrainian national movement and the activities of Ukrainian organizations in diaspora. Materials related to the Ukrainian Democratic Movement (UDR) include, but are not limited to meeting minutes, organizational reports and statements, correspondence, articles, speeches, and notes. Other organizational materials include UNRada session documents, OUN conference programs and resolutions, materials from the Association of Ukrainians in America, the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (УККА), the 5th Congress of the World Congress of Free Ukrainians (СКВУ), and the Association of Ukrainians in America, along with a program of the Ukrainian Institute of America and report from the Ukrainian Supreme Liberation Council (УГВП). Il'nyts'kyi’s other written materials include correspondence with individuals and organizations, interviews, a radio script on Ivan Mazepa, a biography, newspaper clippings about or by Il'nyts'kyi, the pamphlet “Pryznachennia Ukraintsiv v Ameritsi,” the play "Valentyn Moroz," and his writings on Kedryn, Vynnychenko, and Western Ukraine during WWII. Finally, there are writings by others, such as Lytvyn, Fedenko, Hrishko, Bahrianyi, and Moroz, along with R. Krychevs'kyi radio scripts, a biography of Vladimir Kaye-Kysilews'kyj, and various newspaper clippings.
