This collection contains writings by Bohdan Futey, primarily his memoir "My Story", which includes reproductions of documents, articles, ephemera and other material related to Futey's biography and professional work as a lawyer, politician, and judge. The collection also includes clippings, printouts of web pages and emails, and syllabi.

Biographical / Historical
Bohdan Futey (Богдан Футей) is a Ukrainian American senior judge of the United States Court of Federal Claims. He was born in 1939 in Buchach in what is now western Ukraine. His family were displaced persons during the 1940s and were initially resettled to Argentina. They moved to the United States in 1957, where he graduatated from Western Reserve University (now Case Western Reserve University in 1962 and received his Juris Doctor at Cleveland–Marshall College of Law in 1968. He practiced law and was executive assistant to Cleveland Mayor Ralph J. Perk before being appointed to the federal bench in 1987.
