Identifier: 112

Scope and Contents

This is an artificial collection consisting of two components: a set of scrapbooks and photograph albums documenting the activities of the Trembita Choir in Newark, and a set of photographs related to the activities of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA) in Newark. The Trembita Choir materials contain concert and event programs, publicity material, ephemera, internal choir business records, letters from Andrii Hnatyshyn in Vienna, Austria, and photographs. The UCCA photographs are primarily staged group photos (possibly by press photographers) of proclamation signings and similar events with local government officials.
