This collection contains records of the publication committee of a book on the local history of Iavorivshchyna. The following sources were used: "Akta grodzkie i ziemskie" of the Bernardine Archives in L'viv, M. Hrushevs'ky's "History of Rus'-Ukraine", M. Hrushevs'ky's "Lustrations of Towns and Villages" compiled and published by the Naukove Tovarystvo im. Shevchenka, "History of Towns and Villages of the Ukrainian SSR", "Słownik geograficzny Królestwa Polskiego", and shematisms. The description of the Yavoriv region includes data on the towns of Nemyriv and Ianiv, which were closely associated with Iavoriv during the liberation struggle of 1918-1919.
