This is a synthetic collection, but the purpose and assembler of these materials is not currently known. It contains originals and photocopies of letters from Hrushevs'kyi to E. Faryniak (1922-1927). In these letters, Hrushevs’kyi includes information and observations about Ukrainian-Russian relations, Lenin’s New Economic Policy, the situation in Halychyna and in Eastern Ukraine, comments about the Ukrainian immigration to America and Europe, and the construction and sale of tractors and automobiles by Ford in Russia and Ukraine. The collection also includes transcriptions of Hrushevs'kyi letters to Teodor Pochynko (1923-1924) which were made by Stepan Ripets'kyi from originals at the Ukrainian Academy of Arts and Sciences. Also included are newspaper clippings and writings about Hrushevs'kyi, along with holograph research notes.
